GIFT CARDS FAQ’s
PURCHASING A GIFT CARD
- You can purchase GLAM IN TOWN e-gift cards here.
- The e-gift card will be sent via email to the chosen recipient to use on the GLAM IN TOWN website only.
- E-gift cards can be bought and used for as little as INR 500 and as much as INR 5,000.
- E-gift cards are only available in the same currency they were purchased in. Payment for e-gift cards is accepted by all of our payment vendors, including debit cards, credit cards, and UPI providers.
- Promotional and discount codes cannot be used when purchasing a gift card.
- A third-party company will collect payment on www.glam.smpg.tech, which will appear on your bank statement as “GLAM IN TOWN”
- GLAM IN TOWN accepts no responsibility for any losses incurred as a result of an e-gift card being delivered to an incorrect email address due to errors in your order. Therefore, please take extra care when entering details in your order.
RECEIVING A GIFT CARD
- Once your order has been approved by GIT and your payment has cleared for the full purchase value of your e-gift card, it will be delivered to the email address you designated for delivery when you completed your order.
- The email address you nominate for delivery should be the person you have nominated to receive and use your e-gift card.
- Provided your payment has cleared, your e-gift card will be delivered to your nominated email address on the specific date you designated for delivery when placing your order.
- The specific delivery date you nominate for delivery when placing your order must be within 4 months of the date of your order.
- It is mandatory to enter a date for your e-gift card to be delivered. If your payment has not cleared by the specific date you nominate for delivery, your e-gift card will be delivered after your payment has cleared.
- GLAM IN TOWN accepts no responsibility for any losses incurred as a result of an e-gift card being delivered to an incorrect email address due to errors in your order. Therefore, please take extra care when entering details in your order.
REDEEMING A GIFT CARD
- Redeeming a e-gift card is quick and easy. Simply click on the link within your e-gift card email. This will take you to your account or we request you to create a GIT account if you don’t already have one. Please note that you can only use e-gift cards on the GIT account that is associated with the email address that you received your e-gift card through.
- Once logged in, the value of the gift card will automatically be added to your account balance. You can check your account balance on your account page or when you are logged in at checkout. Your account balance can be used alongside other payment methods.
- If you have multiple GIT accounts, we will not be able to merge or move any account credit over to another account.
- Your e-gift card can only be used to make purchases online in the same country and currency the card was purchased in. Any purchases made using any amount on your e-gift card by you or any other person will be subject to our website’s Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.
- If the entire amount on your e-gift card has not been spent, the remaining balance will still be credited to your account. There is no expiration date for your account credit.
- The amount on your e-gift card can be used towards the purchase amount of items that are priced higher than the balance on your e-gift card, provided that you or the user making the transaction also pay the difference for such merchandises using one of our prescribed payment methods.
EXPIRATION OF THE GIFT CARD
- There are no expiration or activation cutoff dates with GIT e-gift cards.
BALANCE ON GIFT CARD
- The balance of your GIT e-gift card can be found in your account. All e-gift cards will be credited to your account for future purchases. Your balance will also appear at checkout when you are logged in.
RETURNING AN ITEM PURCHASED WITH A GIFT CARD
If you or the person you designated to receive and use your e-gift card purchased items with an e-gift card but then returned them, you are entitled to a refund under our general website terms and conditions. Any money owed to us for the refund would be added to your account’s remaining credit (for any purchase amount originally taken from your e-gift card) or refunded to the other prescribed payment method used to pay us (for any purchase amount originally taken from another prescribed payment method other than the e-gift card).
Please contact customer service if you have not received the refund credit added back to your account.
HAVEN’T RECEIVED THE GIFT CARD
- If you’ve purchased an e-gift card and you or the recipient has not received it, please check your junk folder; if the e-gift card is not visible, please contact our support team.
- If you have decided to buy an e-gift card for someone as a surprise and have not heard from them in a couple of days, please double check the email address you sent it to ensure all details are correct. If all details are correct, please give the recipient a tickle to check their account.
- GLAM IN TOWN shall not be responsible if an e-gift card is corrupted, deleted, or used without permission. We reserve the right to refuse to accept an e-gift card that we deem to have been duplicated or that we otherwise suspect has been affected by fraud.
- GLAM IN TOWN cannot be held responsible for e-gift cards that cannot be delivered due to the recipient’s spam filters, firewalls, mailbox capacity, or any other factors outside our control.
CAN I EXCHANGE, RETURN OR REFUND MY E-GIFT CARD
- E-gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred for value. If you have entered an incorrect sender’s email address, please get in touch with our support team.
- Once a e-gift card has been activated by the recipient, it cannot be refunded. You have the right to cancel your e-gift card within 21 days of it being received at your nominated email address for delivery, provided that you give GIT formal written notice of your intention to cancel by contacting our customer support team.
- If you decide to exercise your cancellation right, GIT will refund the amount of your e-gift card to the original payment method used to purchase the e-gift card within 30 days of our customer service team receiving your written notice of cancellation. You may not cancel any e-gift card that has already been redeemed.
GIFT CARDS TERMS & CONDITIONS :
- By purchasing a GLAM IN TOWN e-gift card, you agree to enter into a contract with GLAM IN TOWN and to be bound by these terms and conditions, together with our privacy policy and terms of use, and our website terms and conditions, which are incorporated into these terms and conditions, so please read them carefully before purchasing. By purchasing an e-gift card, you accept that your contract with us for the e-gift card will be governed by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and our website Terms and Conditions. E-gift cards and their balances cannot be returned or refunded, in whole or in part, except in accordance with your statutory legal rights. E-gift cards and their balances cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred for any value by you or anyone else other than for purchasing items from GLAM IN TOWN. We reserve the right to cancel any order for your e-gift card and refund any money you have paid to us if we discover any pricing or other errors in relation to the order prior to the time of dispatch. We will contact you in these circumstances and give you the opportunity to place a new order. Your refund will be processed within five working days. We also reserve the right to terminate your order for your e-gift card if we believe you have breached any of these terms and conditions or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we terminate your order, we will refund the sums you have paid to us within 5 working days, less any costs directly incurred by us as a consequence of your breach of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change or add to these Terms and Conditions for security, legal, or regulatory requirements. We will give you at least one month’s notice of any such changes or additions. If you require further information about our Terms and Conditions or your use of your e-gift card, please contact a member of our support service team here. - We may use third parties to perform any or all of our responsibilities relating to your e-gift card. “You” / your means only the person who has purchased the e-gift card from us. If you nominate another person to receive and use your e-gift card, you are authorizing that person to use your e-gift card and any balance on your e-gift card. Please note that e-gift cards are not regulated as payment instruments and amounts on them are not electronic money
